Captain Althario Rolle

Captain Althario (Tario) Rolle is a Bahamian born and raised local boy.  Althario worked for ten years with the Bahamas Coast Guard.

 

He gained immeasurable experience and understanding of everything in and around our nautical world.   Since those early days with the Coast Guard, Captain Althario took all that experience to the yacht charter industry.  Ten years later Althario has completed over 150 charters on various power and sailing vessels up to 100 ft in length, He now holds a  200 ton rated captains ticket with the Bahamian government. 

 

Captain Althario has spent numerous hours with Chef Peter, the head chef at Carolina Gourmet. He now is not only an experienced charter captain, but also a chef very capable of preparing fine meals should you decide to add the food and beverage package to your "captain only" charter.  As another bonus, he can make a very mean cocktail to be enjoyed every night on your voyage aboard Bru Sea.  Cheers to you!

Bru Sea Charter Rates

CAPTAIN ONLY RATE


Weekly Charter Rate (7 nights for up to 8 guests): $26,900 Plus Expenses

MINIMUM NIGHTS: 5, Inquire for less or day charter rates

For 6 night charters, divide weekly rate by 7 nights x 6 nights. For 5 nights or less, divide weekly rate by 6 nights x number of nights.

 

Mandatory Supplemental Expenses:


● Applicable sales taxes: 4% Bahamas Cruising Tax and 10% VAT

● Fuel – $1950 Limited Time Special: Free fuel on charters booked and completed by the end of April 2024.

The rate includes:


● The rate includes:
● Private Yacht and Captain Only Service
● Insurance for the yacht and the passengers (civil liability)
● Accommodation in 4 private air-conditioned cabins for a total of 8 guests with en suite bathroom 
● Bedding, towels and beach towels
● Dinghy

● Water Toys
● First and last night docking fees at Hurricane Hole Marina in Nassau

The rate does not include:

● Cancellation Insurance and private insurance

● Docking or mooring fees during regular charter nights (first and last night dockage at Hurricane Hole Marina included in inclusive price)

● Airport Transfers

● Personal Expenses

● Any applicable re-positioning fee based on guest request (please inquire)

● Crew gratuities (usually 15% of the total charter fee)

DAY CHARTER ITINERARY OFFERED:

Nassau to Rose Island


Cruising from Nassau,head out to Rose island where you can enjoy snorkeling,tubing,beaching on the shores of this unspoiled island. Cruise past world famous Gilligan's Island on route to Green Cay to swim with the green turtles. Your day could include a trip to visit the pigs if you and your party has interest in that. The vessel is equipped with a 12ft tender, snorkeling gear,layout mat, Sea Bobs, fishing gear and a tube for behind the tender.

*Please Note* Swimming with Green Turtles is not guaranteed as the Green Turtles that frequent the area are wild animals and not trained or kept in an enclosure.
